Audi A5/S5/RS5
STATUS: Unchanged for 2020 - For buyers preferring two doors to four, and fashionably good looks, the A5 might be the right fit. And if you prefer the convenience of a sedan but still want to make a fashion statement, then Audi can oblige with the four-door A5 Sportback. The chief drawback is that adults using the rear seat will have to squeeze to enter and exit. Of course the two-door is a bit worse, but that's to be expected. The powertrain is a 248-horsepower turbocharged four-cylinder connected to a paddle-shifted seven-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel-drive is standard. The S5 - available in two and four-door styles - uses a 354-horsepower turbocharged 3.0-liter V-6 and an eight-speed automatic. For serious performance, the new RS 5 Sportback puts out 444 twin-turbocharged horsepower and 443 pound-feet of torque. At $75,200, going fast and looking cool doesn't come cheap.
Base price (incl. destination): $45,200 (A5); $53,400 (S5); $75,200 (RS 5)
